What happens with your details
Short, because there is not much to say. This site does not track you, does not profile you, and does not sell anything about you to anyone.
Listening
Listening takes no account and no sign up. Nothing is stored on your device except one small note of whether you chose light or dark mode, which stays on your device and never leaves it.
There is no analytics on this site. No Google Analytics, no pixels, no heatmaps, no advertising trackers. Nobody is counting your plays.
Your email, if you give it
The signup form is run by Kit, the newsletter platform. Your address is used for one thing: telling you when new music lands and when David is playing near you. It is never sold, rented, or passed to anyone else. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and using it removes you for good.
Buying and supporting
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card information is encrypted and handled entirely by them. It is never shared with us and never touches this site.
Stripe passes David the ordinary things a seller needs: name, email, amount, and the date. If you become a patron, Stripe also handles the recurring charge and the cancellation, and you can stop any time.
Booking
The booking form is a Google Form. Whatever you type into it goes to Google and to David, under Google's terms rather than this page's.
How long anything is kept
Your email stays on the list until you unsubscribe. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, which is Stripe's job more than David's.
Changes
If this ever changes, the date below changes with it.
